Show the work. Tell your part of the story.
Your portfolio should help someone understand what you can do, how you think, and what you contributed. Make those answers easy to find.
Lead with work that fits the role.
Choose a small set of relevant projects. A gameplay programming role needs different evidence from a character art role. Put the strongest, most relevant piece first, and make the page quick to load.
Explain your contribution.
For each project, state the goal, your responsibilities, the tools you used, and the outcome. Credit collaborators. Show process where it helps explain a decision, rather than adding detail for its own sake.
Make it easy to review.
Use readable captions and short demonstrations. Test videos, downloads, and repository links. Provide an accessible way to contact you and check that the work looks clear on different screen sizes.
Respect what you can share.
Publish only work you own or have permission to show. For confidential projects, describe your contribution at an appropriate level and ask the owner before sharing materials.
